SUMMARY:Resilience and Personal Power - Within and Around Us: DDI Kenya with b-onfire
DESCRIPTION:Deep Democracy Facilitation (or Process Work) by Arnold Mindell \nDDI-KE and B.ONFIRE are excited to announce the seminar ‘Resilience and Personal Power – Within and Around Us’\, happening in Kenya and hosted by DDI-KE\, on the 8-10 of August 2025\, at the Four Points Sheraton\, in Hurlingham\, Nairobi. \nIt is a space to slow down\, turn inwardly\, and explore how resilience and personal power arise when we allow all parts of ourselves – and the world around us – to speak. \nIn Process Work\, we see resilience not as something we “achieve” but as something that emerges when we are relating with the signals\, tensions\, and hidden potentials within and around us. Personal power is not about control\, but about being in touch with the deeper currents that carry us\, even in times of uncertainty. \nIn this training\, we invite you to: \n\nlisten to your body signals and inner feedback\,\ndiscover how your personal history shapes your experience of power and powerlessness\,\nwork on your life myth and its main challenges (edges)\nmeet inner critics and marginalised parts that influence your resilience\,\nexplore how your power can flow more naturally when you follow your process\,\nand experience how moments of stuckness and conflict can open new pathways for connection and co-creation.\n\nTogether\, we will move between inner work\, relationship work\, and group reflections – learning not from fixed models\, but from the unfolding processes in ourselves and between us. This is a space to experiment\, to listen deeply\, and to honour both your struggles and your strength. \nUltimately\, it’s a journey into eldership –\nthe attitude to stand beside ourselves with compassion\, and recognise that all our parts – strong\, vulnerable\, visible\, or hidden – have a place and a voice. \nMain facilitators: Devkos Bradley (Smith)/DDI Kenya and Stephanie Bachmair /B.ONFIRE Germany \nAbout Process Work:\nProcess Work (or Deep Democracy)\, developed by Arnold Mindell\, is an awareness-based approach to personal and collective transformation. It teaches us to follow the process\, trusting that every symptom\, every conflict\, and every edge carries hidden information needed for change. Whether working with individuals\, relationships\, or whole groups\, Process Work invites us to engage with what is marginalised\, to listen more deeply\, and to access the wisdom inherent in each moment. \nFor signing up and questions you can use the form below \nSchedule:\nFriday: 10 – 5 pm EET\nSaturday: 9.30 am – 5 pm EET Open Forum: 7-8.30pm\nSunday: 9.30 am – 1 pm EET \nCost:\n300 € (plus VAT if you live in Germany)\nScholarships are available upon request. \nContact: \nIn Kenya: deepdemocracyinstituteke@gmail.com \nFor signing up and questions you can use the form below \nhttps://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScTu-CsPjGwhsoq0YSqBtqCk2uJggjmdjjEz134eZCJjs8Liw/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=101882829480888045829. \nor Internationally: info@b-onfire.com and signing in via https://www.b-onfire.com/shop

SUMMARY:WorldWork Journalism - Stephie Bachmair + WWJ team
DESCRIPTION:WorldWork Journalism. Intimate. Co-creative. Public. Deep Democracy in action. \nSince more then 2 years\, we are exploring and experimenting with a new form of co-creative/ interactive writing called Worldwork Journalism. It combines the immediacy of the worldwork group process (depp democracy facilitation) with the reflective space of writing\, followed by an invitation to a wider audience to join in\, here on substack. \nWe will now go in a next round. There are still a few seats left. Interested? \nThe process’s starting point is a two-hour virtual session with a globally spread group of around 15 people. We will open a facilitated space for sorting the topic\, and a group process\, which then flows into individual writing prompts. These prompts will open the next level of a broader dialogue. They will be posted online where our group can continue unfolding the process. \nThen we will invite others as readers and/or co-writers to add to the conversation. We will do this here on Substack\, a ‘free-style journalist/everyday writers’ platform. This online interactive space will be actively facilitated over 2 to 5 days. \nWhen\n\n20th of Sept – 9 am Berlin (CEST) / 10 am Nairobi\, Vilnius\, Kyiv\, Moscow / 2 pm Bangkok / 6 pm Sydney. Then bi-monthly (dates to be confirmed)\n\nPlease note that there will be a ‘lightsaving time change’ for some of us\, so you might better check on your local time taking Berlin time as reference. \nWhat you need to bring: \n\ninterest in worldwork (the world’s burning issues)\na curious mind\,\nlove for experimentation\,\ninterest in creative expression.\n\nWe cannot wait to step into this next worldwork endeavor\, meeting people worldwide and co-creating dialogue inside out. This participation in this group of Worldwork Journalists is at no cost; so\, book now to reserve your place! \nBook your place here! \nWe are more than grateful to more than 70 pioneers (over the last 2 year) who walked with us through the four rounds co-creating 12 articles! The next group is currently constellating. We are proud of always having a beautiful diversity of participants – from Thailand\, Kenya\, Egypt\, India\, Australia\, Finland\, Slovenia\, Poland\, Ukraine\, Russia\, the US\, Germany\, Italy\, Spain and Lithuania (and I am sure I did not mention them all) on board. \nApart from co-creating in this worldwork journalist group\, we invite you to read and join the conversation hereon Substack.  We are grateful for every contribution as it enriches our conversations and supports this tender plant to grow. \nInitiators of this space\nStephanie Bachmair (B.ONFIRE/DD Alliance) is a communication enthousiast\, facilitator\, leadership coach\, and process work diplomat. She supports individuals\, teams\, and organizations to explore and craft their stories\, tell them with impact\, relate to their audience\, and increase their transformative power through dialogue. \nPenny Watson (MACF) works as a coach\, group facilitator and community development worker. She loves working with people in nature using process-orientated earth-based practices. She lives in Mparntwe\, Alice Springs\, and is deeply inspired by the people and lands of the Central Australian Desert. Penny is currently taking a WWJ sabbatical.

SUMMARY:The Spirit of the Land and the Force of Dreaming: Co-creating Alternatives. Deep Democracy Institute International
DESCRIPTION:We Follow Geographical Pricing – Please Inquire about Special Fees for Your Region. Scholarships are available! Please write to mpere@deepdemocracyinstitute.org***\n7 Day Process Work and Worldwork Clinic\, an Individual and Collective Alchemical Experiment\, a Large Group Facilitation and Coaching Training. Practicing Process Work Awareness methods in the search for wholeness in our life—through crisis\, illness\, conflicts\, and wars\, with Drs. Ellen and Max Schupbach\, DDI Team and Everyone. Our Intensive is both a training event and a hands-on experiment for creating alternative narratives for individuals\, teams and communities. We are each living tales written by the universe\, and they rarely match the dominant storyline. The clinic is a space to practice the discipline of differentiating the Process-oriented Awareness Modes including multi-dimensional Process Work rank awareness modes\, which changes perspectives\, narratives and outcomes of an individual and community work.We focus on letting go of “personal history”—the old stories we carry from the past that block us from the magic of the present—so we can facilitate from where we truly are\, here and now.\nUntamed Ecology\n\n\nThe 2025 Intensive confronts the deepening fault lines of global polarization — manifesting as political fragmentation\, regional and continental wars\, resource-driven trade battles\, escalating climate crises\, and the rising specter of unpredictable pandemics. \nAround the world\, political and interest groups are locked in a battle of narratives\, vying for the hearts and minds of everyday people. But our two decades of work bridging the Global North and Global South have revealed something quieter — and more powerful — beneath the noise: a deeper reality where human connection transcends ideology. \n\n\nDiversity and Interdependence\n\n\nOutside the glare of media cycles and political framing\, people from vastly different worlds come together — not despite their differences\, but because they see through them. Like ecosystems that thrive through diversity and interdependence\, these grassroots collaborations emerge across boundaries\, supported by something more ancient than any narrative: the enduring spirit of the land itself. \n\nOur inspiration\n\n\ndraws from the enduring wisdom of surviving Indigenous cultures — teachers in the art of listening to and living by the spirit of the land. In our view\, this seamlessly converges with Arnold Mindell’s Earth-based Psychology— a path that weaves together the insights of modern physics with the depth of intercultural awareness\, grounding transformation in both the seen and unseen forces of life. As community builders\, we are called to rediscover this voice together\, to sense its presence in the rhythm of daily life\, and to let its guidance shape both our personal paths and our shared futures. \n\n2025 Intensive Themes\n\n\n\n\nThe Spirit of the Land and the Indigenous Voice – Path to Collective Alternatives \n\n\nInnner Work for Watershed Moments in Life – Creating Alternatives for Yourself \n\n\nAlternatives in Relationships: The Creativity of Conflicts \n\n\nMigration\, Territories\, Borders\, Wars and Indigenousnes – Alternatives to Mainstream Narratives of Polarization \n\n\nDeath\, Life and Creativity – the Alchemy of Body Symptoms \n\n\nThis Clinic is an initiative of the Deep Democracy Institute International. We are members of the Deep Democracy Alliance\, an alumni network of DDI colleagues from East Africa\, West Asia\, Southeast Asia\, Russia\, Ukraine\, Europe\, Australia\, and the USA\, all of whom have completed a Process Work Diploma program. \nOur annual Intensive courses are regularly attended by co-learners from our global community — an essential expression of our organization’s core purpose and the meaning behind our logo: Unity in Diversity. \nWe are a member of the International Association of Process-oriented Psychologists (IAPOP) and our training program follows their guidelines. \nWe broadly indentify also with the Pluriverse Movement\, whose core idea is based on the concept that there is no single universal way to live well\, organize societies\, or relate to nature. Instead\, it honors diverse worldviews\, cosmologies\, and ways of knowing and being.

SUMMARY:Dreambody Alive\, Dead\, and Ecstatic / Dreambody Informing Our Lives - Process Work Institute Lithuania
DESCRIPTION:The Dreambody seminar is an experiential leadership training for pioneers\, coaches\, and changemakers. It uses the “dreambody” concept from process-work to explore how the body’s subtle signals and energy patterns hold valuable insight. Through embodied group work and somatic awareness\, participants aim to unlock inner resources\, creativity\, and relational capacity — supporting personal growth and organisational impact. \nOur bodies are more than flesh and bones. They are living maps of our dreaming process\, carrying signals\, symptoms\, and energies that often go unheard. In daily life\, many of us treat the body mainly as something to cure\, train\, or maintain. Yet\, when pain or discomfort breaks through\, it can become a surprising doorway into deeper awareness. \nIn Processwork\, following Arnold Mindell’s dreambody approach\, we explore how symptoms are not just problems but meaningful messages. They are invitations to listen differently\, to discover hidden aspects of our dreaming\, and to unfold new dimensions of ourselves. \nThis lab offers: \n\n Quick access to the dreaming process through body experiences\n Practical tools for relating to symptoms as signals\, not just disturbances\n A chance to encounter the dreambody as a rich companion in everyday life\n\nThe journey is adventurous\, alive\, and sometimes ecstatic. It invites us into a fuller relationship with ourselves—where the body is not only cared for medically but also honored as a source of wisdom. \nWho it is for (who can attend)\nThe seminar is for everybody interested in embodied leadership\, process work\, personal growth and organizational impact.  \nOrganising PW-school or diplomate/team\nThe seminar is run by the team behind PWI Lithuania with Stephanie Bachmait (DE) and Gabrysia Basiuk (PL)  \nOrganiser (person and contact email)\nMain contact: processworkinstitutelt@gmail.com \nLocation\nVilnius\, Lithuania. \nDate: 5.-7.12.2025 \nMore info here: https://www.b-onfire.com/shop/p/deep-democracy-lab-vilnius-dreambodyy?utm_source=chatgpt.com\nPlease note: this exploration does not replace medical care. If you experience symptoms\, take good care of yourself and consult a doctor to clarify them on the consensus reality (CR) level. \nCome discover the dreambody—an everyday companion\, a source of insight\, and a doorway into the deeper dreaming that moves through us all. \nSCHEDULE: \nFriday 6-8 pm \nSaturday 10-6 pm \nSunday 10-4 pm \nPRICE: 300 € \nScholarships on seminar tuition available. SUMMARY:Make your relationships a gift. Conflict on Stage by Process Work Institute Lithuania / B-onfire
DESCRIPTION:Make your Relationship a gift. Conflict on Stage: Practice to wisely use tension to move into connection and co-creation \nConflict is happening — in teams\, relationships\, and society. \nThis seminar explores conflict as a living\, relational process by bringing it onto the stage. Through embodied practices\, participants develop awareness\, presence\, and the ability to stay connected in moments of tension and difference. \nWherever people meet\, conflict is present—in visible disagreements as well as in subtle tensions\, unspoken emotions\, and polarized positions. Often\, these dynamics remain hidden or are acted out indirectly\, limiting connection and understanding. In this seminar\, we bring conflict onto the stage—not to perform it\, but to work with it. By giving form to tension through drama\, movement\, and relational exploration\, conflict becomes visible\, tangible\, and open to reflection. \nParticipants explore how conflicts unfold through roles\, power dynamics\, projections\, and inner contradictions. We focus on developing awareness of one’s own patterns of engagement and avoidance\, as well as readiness for conflict work. Especially in polarized contexts\, the capacity to stay present with difference while maintaining boundaries is essential. \nFacilitators: Stephanie Bachmair & Zbigniew Milunski \nDates: March 6th (6-8 pm)\, Centre for Healthy Ageing\, Strazdelio str. 3\, Vilnius\, Lithuania (tbc) \nMarch 7th (10 am-6 pm)\, March 8th (10 am-4 pm)\, Vilnius Waldorf Green School\, Malūno str. 39\, Skirgiskes\, Vilnius\, Lithuania \nKey Learning Fields: \n\nMaking hidden tensions visible and workable.\nPersonal patterns of engaging with conflict: readiness\, resistance\, and avoidance.\nInner conflict and its impact on outer dynamics.\nWorking with polarity\, power\, and projection.\nDramatic and playful methods for exploring conflict safely.\nStaying connected in moments of difference and tension.\n\nWho it is for: Open to anyone interested in conflict resolution\, teams\, and personal development (Processwork students\, practitioners\, and the general public).

SUMMARY:Dream Lab – A Space for Night Dream Exploration by B.ONFIRE
DESCRIPTION:Dream Lab – A Space for Night Dream Exploration \nDreams speak in images\, sensations\, and moods. Some linger long after we wake up\, asking to be met again. \nDream Lab is a monthly experiential space for people who want to explore their night dreams together\, in a supportive\, curious\, and respectful environment. Rather than interpreting dreams from the outside\, we approach them as living processes that want to be felt\, embodied\, and related to. \nThe work draws on Process-Oriented Dreamwork\, yet no prior experience is required. Through dialogue\, body awareness\, role exploration\, and relationship\, we follow the dream itself and allow it to show what it needs. \nThe Dream Lab is not a supervision group. SUMMARY:Welcome To Life As It Is! Discovering the beauty of a complex world in everyday life experiences: DDI Thailand
DESCRIPTION:Welcome To Life As It Is! Discovering the beauty of a complex world in everyday life experiences\n\nVenue: St Gabriel’s Foundation of Thailand\, Thong lor 25\, Bangkok \nhttps://share.google/2Fi7evvoDkz71KUY8 \nDate: Sat-Sun 25-26 April\, 2026 \nTime: 10.00-17.00 \nContact: lynn dot chalobon at gmail dot com \nFee: 5\,600 baht *Please inquire about scholarships \nLanguage: Slow English and Thai translate when necessary or requested \nSee our facebook page: DDI Thailand \nWhat is this seminar about? \nWhen we imagine life as a wild garden tending to itself\, not only a series of problems to be solved\, we may discover amidst the “weeds” of our lives\, the conflicts\, the pains\, the interruptions\, a nutrient-rich soil. Any garden is affected by weather. At times we get caught in the weather\, we might fight the weather\, we can decide to stay home\, we can play around in it\,  and we might discover a ray of sunshine after a storm. \nThis seminar offers learning tools to grow from\, based on an attitude of welcoming life as it is. This attitude is at the heart of Process Work’s deep democracy\, an attitude and practice for navigating personal and collective experiences. The practices at the seminar are meant as tools in discovering the hidden symmetry and beauty between inner and outer life situations\, even those that may appear chaotic. \nMindell\, founder of Process Work developed a unique approach to listening to the “undercurrents” of reality. He differentiated three simultaneous worlds of experience that we move through: dealing in the material world\, navigating our emotional life and accessing our dreaming – our deepest aspirations that give life meaning. \nThe “all-weather” practices at this workshop develop awareness in the flow between these worlds. Here\, every disturbance is a doorway to a deeper version of ourselves and our community. What seems to disrupt us can also contain a hidden flower for our garden to bloom. \nThis seminar is a living laboratory for awareness – a taste of the foundations of Process Work. We will explore how our private inner feelings and the outer world are connected\, and bring to life the ancient wisdom that awareness in ourselves can help the world around us. \nWelcome To Life As It Is! A learning space for trying out some all-weather tools using your unique style and life situation. \nWhat will happen?  \nEach day we will practice an inner work tool and an outer tool that you can apply straight away in your life \nDay 1: Decoding inner weather signals to facilitate my inner garden  \nIn Mindell’s Dreambody concept\, our bodies and our dreaming are connected. Unfolding body experiences  with process-oriented awareness\, can offer new possibilities for everyday life situations across a wide spectrum of life situations. \nDay 2: Decoding collective weather signals to facilitate the collective garden  \nWe shift our focus to Mindell’s Worldwork and energetic social field theory. We will introduce a collective approach for engaging with social and community issues. We will learn to frame and unfold a polarisation on a given theme of mutual interest. In getting to know diverse roles and cultural influences that are present and felt\, but often hidden we may gain a new  appreciation for the complexity and beauty within a difficult situation. \nOur learning approach:  \nShort presentations\, group discussion\, live demonstrations of practices and guided exercises\, exercise practice with a partner\, large group processes on a topic of collective relevance. \nYes! to a symptom. Yes! to a disturbance. Yes! to Life!  When we give life as it is a chance to reveal its wisdom\, we open a door to invite inner wholeness as a way of being. We look forward to learning together! \nMeet the Facilitators: \nDDI Thailand faculty: Lynn Chalobon\, Joe Pluemjit; Bo Winitra; Numthip Ketsumpan. \nGuest facilitator: Julia Wolfson \nJulia is a facilitator and coach\, and lifelong student of Process Work.  She works and teaches internationally with leaders\, teams and learning communities navigating complex transitions and group dynamics\, especially in education\, care and residential support communities. \nhttps://deepdemocracydiploma.com \nhttps://deepdemocracyalliance.com \nwww.turningforward.org

This retreat includes:\n• An intensive introductory day to process work: master classes\, games\, and practices.\n• A three-day seminar by Claire and Mark on the nature of love\, pain\, forgiveness\, and hope.\n• Integration work in small groups — to translate the experience into personal discoveries and inner movements. \nSchedule\nJune 10 — Intensive “Introduction to the Process Approach”\nFacilitators: Tatiana Shipulina\, Lydia Smal\, Yulia Pritchina\n• Before lunch: Check-in. Getting acquainted. Introduction to process work — ideas\, methods\, inspiration\n•    After lunch: Introduction to process work\, process games — practices and physical experiments to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of living research\nJune 11–13 — Seminar “Love and Loss” with Claire Hill and Mark O’Connell\nLove and loss are profound\, inevitable human experiences that contain both vulnerability and strength. We explore them through a process approach — a method based on respect for the multi-layered nature of experience: from bodily sensations to dreams\, from everyday situations to transcendent states.\nProcess work allows us to look beyond the familiar story\, to find hidden impulses of life even in pain\, to hear the voice of the body\, the subconscious\, rhythm\, and ritual.\nIn this seminar\, we will explore together:\n• how we experience love and loss — in the body\, in speech\, in dreams\, in field contact\,\n• how grief can become a portal to the unknown\,\n• and how group support and awareness help to accommodate the impossible.\nContent and approach \nThis is not therapy in the classical sense\, but a living research group where each participant can move at their own pace\, be seen and heard. We will draw on key elements of the process approach:\n• Working with the edge: exploring the boundary where personal history becomes a field of transformation\n•     Body signals: attention to micro-movements\, somatics\, breathing\, nonverbal reactions\n• Imagery and dream work: what cannot be expressed in words can be told through images\n• Field consciousness: recognizing that we are more connected than we think\n•     Working with roles and subpersonalities: exploring inner figures such as the One Who Holds On and the One Who Lets Go \nSeminar topics:\n• The nature of love—how it manifests in our bodies and in the field\n• Losses: partners\, health\, meaning\, familiar identities\n•    The presence of spirit alongside pain\n• Grief as a personal and collective experience\n• What does it mean to “let go” — and is it possible not to hold on?\n• Defense mechanisms: fear of loving again\, fear of losing again\n•    Transition from grief to transformation\, creativity\, connection\nJune 15 — Integration in small groups\nFacilitators: Tatiana\, Lydia\, and Julia\n• We help participants make sense of\, reflect on\, and deepen their experience of the seminar\, and outline further steps and ways of providing internal support.seminar by Claire and Mark on the nature of love\, pain\, forgiveness\, and hope.\n• Integration work in small groups — to translate the experience into personal discoveries and inner movements.
