News from Salt Lake City

Gene Hansen sent us a message with news on what he is up to in Salt Lake City. He says…

I’m still in Salt Lake. I work at different hospitals and nursing homes as a geriatric psychologist with folks who are ill, dying, severely handicapped, recovering, or have had severe surgical errors or complications. Most of the time I’m involved in weekly individual psychotherapy sessions with these patients but occasionally I see families or groups. My friend Dr. Davis and I are starting a weekly class for doctors, nurses, aids, physical therapists, respritory therapists, support personnel, etc. at one of the hospitals we both work at. The class will be on life, death, dying and recovery for caregivers working with hospitalized patients.
